A Flash of Fiction

The Garden

I put on my pretty garden hat and my gloves before I go outside to help my husband with the garden.

He might be a pretentious, lying, disgustingly unfaithful prick, but he is ever so good for my garden.

The flowers in my favourite border have never been as lush and beautiful as in this year. Skyrocketing lupins, flaming red poppies, and proud hollyhocks, all so big and bold and bright. He really did a good job with that border.

If I had known what a good fertiliser he is, I would have killed and buried him years ago.

End

That’s the first drabble. I’m glad I found my notebook today. More is coming soon😊
